Google has announced Android 2.3.4 OTA (over the air) update for Nexus S.This is the latest version of Gingerbread and it is not surprising that Google’s own Nexus S is getting it first.
Apart from several bugs and performance improvements this update brings in voice and video calling feature in the Gtalk app. This is the first time any android device (mobile) is getting the Gtalk app that could do voice and video chat. This is the same Gtalk app seen in the Honeycomb tablets. The video and voice calls can be used over any internet connection, whether it is WiFi,3G,4G whatever it is,all you need is to have an internet connection on your device and you enjoy unlimited voice and video calls.
As we have said the update is OTA but android central has found a way to do it manually also.
Here is the step by step process to install Android 2.3.4 on Nexus S manually
